Data Engineering Manager II

We are seeking an Engineering Manager II to lead a critical area of our engineering organization. The role is accountable for technical strategy and delivery across multiple complex domains. You will lead a high‑performing team of 6‑10 senior engineers, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. You will partner with product and business leaders to influence medium‑ and long‑term strategy and deliver measurable impact. Your responsibility includes fostering technical excellence, developing senior engineers and future leaders, and managing cross‑team dependencies for millions of users.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience managing engineering teams
• proven ability to lead senior engineers and mentor future managers
• strong background in modern software development (Java/Go, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Messaging Queues, Cloud Services)
• experience partnering with product managers to shape roadmaps
• expertise in driving architectural discussions and technical strategy
• proficient in Agile methodologies and resolving complex cross‑team delivery challenges
• fintech or eCommerce experience is a strong plus
