Sr. Project Controls Manager

Job description

Responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting project performance across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resources. Ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives by establishing robust controls, governance frameworks, and performance reporting mechanisms. Develops and maintains project control frameworks, procedures, and standards. Establishes baselines for scope, schedule, and budget. Monitors progress against planned milestones and deliverables. Identifies schedule variances and recommends corrective actions. Ensures effective change and configuration management. Tracks budgets, forecasts, commitments, and expenditures. Analyzes cost performance and provides variance reports. Supports financial planning and cost optimization initiatives. Develops and maintains integrated schedules using project management tools. Conducts schedule risk analysis and critical path assessments. Monitors milestones and provides schedule performance reports. Collaborates with stakeholders to mitigate delays and risks. Identifies, assesses, and monitors project risks and opportunities. Maintains risk registers and mitigation plans. Develops KPIs and project dashboards. Provides trend analysis and performance insights to leadership. Prepares and presents status reports to senior management. Facilitates review meetings and governance forums. Ensures compliance with policies, standards, and contractual requirements. Supports audits and assurance activities. Collaborates with project managers, finance teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. Communicates performance, risks, and issues effectively. Supports decision-making with accurate and timely data and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years experience in project controls, project management, PMO, or related disciplines
• experience managing large-scale projects and cross-functional stakeholders
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-SP, or similar certification preferred
