Planning & Scheduling Manager

Job description

the employer is seeking a Planning & Scheduling Manager in Riyadh, KSA to lead all planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities for major road, highway, bridge, interchange, and transportation infrastructure projects. The role will develop and manage integrated project schedules, monitor performance, identify schedule risks and recovery opportunities, and provide strategic planning support to project and client leadership. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining master program schedules, establishing planning procedures and scheduling standards, reviewing baseline schedules for all phases, ensuring schedule integration across disciplines, validating contractor schedules, monitoring schedule performance, analyzing critical path activities, recommending corrective actions, leading recovery workshops, evaluating acceleration proposals, integrating planning with project controls, preparing executive dashboards and reports, and advising Project and Program Directors.

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of experience in planning and scheduling for major infrastructure projects
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a Planning Manager or Scheduling Manager capacity
• Proven experience working within a PMC, engineering consultancy, or major infrastructure organization
• Demonstrated experience on large‑scale roads, highways, bridges, interchanges, tunnels, and transportation infrastructure projects
• Experience working with government authorities and major transportation agencies in the Middle East is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle planning from concept design through construction and handover
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Advanced Microsoft Excel
