HSE Officer

Job description

the employer is hiring an HSE Officer for the Makkah region. The officer will implement and maintain HSE management systems to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Responsibilities include conducting regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, delivering training and awareness sessions, investigating incidents and preparing reports, maintaining accurate HSE documentation, supporting emergency response plans, and collaborating with project teams to enforce health and safety measures

Requirements

• Proficiency in HSE regulations and standards
• 1 to 3 years experience in HSE roles
• proficiency in conducting safety audits and inspections
• proficiency in risk assessments
• strong communication skills
• ability to design and deliver HSE training programs
• relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH
• experience in incident investigation
• willingness to travel to project sites
• ability to work independently and in a team
• familiarity with emergency response procedures
• compliance with local standards
