About the employer the employer is looking for a Senior Safety Specialist to join our team, Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment across our operations. Role Overview The Senior Safety Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing comprehensive safety programs. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying hazards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture within the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain workplace safety policies, procedures and standards. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments across facilities and operations. Investigates accidents, accidents, and near misses, prepares reports, and recommends corrective actions. Ensure compliance with local, national and international occupational health and safety regulations. Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on safe work practices and emergency procedures. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and HR teams to integrate safety into daily activities and project planning. Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance. Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adequate safety resources. Identify potential hazards and design solutions to prevent workplace injuries or environmental damage. Support emergency response planning and conduct safety drills. Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or related discipline.
