Senior Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Professional - City Operations

Job description

Leads day‑to‑day operations, maintenance and asset management across large‑scale city infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ensures urban systems and public utilities run at peak safety, efficiency and sustainability in line with national standards. Responsibilities: direct daily city operations, municipal services and asset maintenance; ensure strict compliance with national health, safety and environmental standards; manage service level agreements and key performance indicators; develop and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs; oversee asset life‑cycle from commissioning to decommissioning; maximize reliability of critical infrastructure; supervise third‑party contractors, O&M service providers and technical teams; coordinate with internal development and engineering teams; act as primary contact for technical asset inquiries and system audits; manage operational budgets and identify cost‑saving initiatives; use CMMS to track work orders; prepare comprehensive technical reports and performance briefings for executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or Facility Management
• 6+ years of experience in O&M, facility management or city‑scale infrastructure
• proven experience on mega‑projects, giga‑projects or master‑planned communities in KSA
• deep knowledge of smart city technologies, utility grids and district cooling systems
• professional fluency in English
• Arabic language proficiency highly preferred
• familiarity with Saudi municipal regulations and engineering standards
• excellent leadership, negotiation and vendor‑management skills.
