Job advertisement from a major contracting company Job vacancy: Road construction supervisor Objective of the job: Tasks and responsibilities: • Direct supervision of road construction and implementation work in accordance with approved engineering plans and technical specifications. • Distributing daily tasks to work teams and following up on their implementation according to the project schedule. • Ensure compliance with work plans, quality standards, and occupational safety and health requirements at work sites. • Follow up on excavation and backfilling works, leveling the soil, implementing road layers, and asphalt works, and ensuring their compliance with specifications. • Coordinate with project engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow. • Monitor the use of equipment and mechanisms, ensure their optimal operation, and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs. • Supervising the productivity of work teams and taking the necessary measures to address any delays or field obstacles. • Preparing daily and weekly reports on work progress, achievements, and challenges, and submitting them to project management. • Ensure compliance with regulations and instructions issued by relevant government agencies. • Participate in site meetings and provide recommendations that contribute to improving workflow and raising implementation efficiency. • Preserving the company’s equipment and assets used in the project and ensuring their optimal use

Requirements

• At least one year of practical experience in supervising road construction projects

• Familiarity with occupational safety and health requirements on construction sites
