Specialist - QA Frontend Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Specialist Frontend QA Engineer to drive quality and automation for web applications. If you are skilled in tools like Cypress and passionate about leveraging the latest technologies to deliver results, this role could be a great fit for you. Responsibilities: · Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify potential risks early, and ensure testability of features. · Design, implement, and execute functional tests, while also validating interactions with other frontend systems and API integrations. · Leverage AI tools to generate test cases, analyse UI/API failures, and streamline bug reporting workflows. · Use prompt engineering techniques with AI tools to enhance exploratory testing, increase test coverage, and generate test data. · Build & maintain robust automated tests using modern automation tools like Cypress. · Actively participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions, offering input that strengthens product quality. · Clearly communicate testing progress, risks, and status to relevant stakeholders. · Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, ideally with a web and API testing background. · Ability to understand complex business domains and identify business and test use cases. · Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and backend validation techniques. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and approach challenges methodically. · Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject. · Experience working in Agile environments with different cross-functional teams. · Skilled in JavaScript-based automation, using tools such as Cypress and Playwright. · Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot) and understanding of their role in modern QA workflows is a plus.
