Safety Engineer

Job description

A safety engineer is required for a contracting company (Al-Ahsa - Riyadh), classified as “cadres.” Academic qualification - experience in the field of occupational safety and health. Experience in direct contracting companies is preferred to be immediate. About this profession: A Safety Engineer is the professional responsible for ensuring occupational health and safety standards are applied across projects and operations in Saudi facilities. They conduct risk assessments, develop preventive measures, and audit compliance with Saudi and international safety regulations. • Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety standards at work sites • Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards • Develop and deliver training on emergency procedures and preventive safety • Investigate workplace incidents and prepare technical reports to prevent recurrence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or Industrial Engineering or a related field
• experience in applying professional safety systems and procedures
• certified certificates in the field of occupational safety such as OSHA or NEBOSH
• risk analysis and assessment
• knowledge of Saudi and international safety systems
• preparation and implementation of safety programs and procedures
