Roads Technician

Job description

Perform technical duties related to road construction, and collect samples of road’s soil and construction materials, send such samples to laboratory, conform the same to specifications, and estimate quantities of required materials and workers. • Assist road engineer in preparation of work plan and program to inspect and follow up implementation thereof and control quality. • Take samples from road’s soil, construction materials and asphalt mixtures, send such samples to laboratory, and conform the same to specifications. • Inspect road construction work during and after construction to ensure conformity thereof with specifications. • Participate in measurement of completed work in coordination with supervising engineer. • Prepare, submit, document and archive work’s reports
