Job description

The primary role involves taking responsibility for marking layouts for the fabrication of heavy structures such as Masts and Substructures, Mud systems, etc. This includes cutting and bevelling materials like beams, tubing, channels, angles, etc. using a gas torch as required nozzle knowledge. It also involves grinding the bevel and edges to the proper angle. The candidate must be capable of using various measuring tools like tapes, fabrication tools, and weld gauges, etc. Additionally, they must check the quantity and sizes of received materials from the prep shop, clean the workplace, and ensure safe handling of materials. The candidate must maintain safety regulations and obey company safety rules and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 03+ year experience in fabrication in Oil and Gas projects
• High School (10th Pass) with fabricator experience of 3+ years
• Shall have basic technical knowledge in materials and fabrication processes
• Should be able to use measurement tools, such as measure tape, levels, weld gauges
• Should be able to use manual cutting torch for cutting steel plates, pipes, and structural steel
• Must have basic knowledge of English speaking. Having basic knowledge of fabrication processes and principles (Welding, cutting, pressing, gas/plasma cutting works, fit-up work, etc.).
