Structural Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a structural engineer - Fit-out & Finishing to work in the construction sector - Required qualifications and conditions: • Saudi nationality. • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture. • Valid membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers. • Practical experience from two to five years specialized in managing and implementing finishing and interior decoration projects (Fit-out & Finishing). Main tasks and responsibilities: • Comprehensive field supervision of the implementation of all architectural finishing items, including flooring, paint, false ceilings, cladding, gypsum work, doors, windows and facades. • Review shop drawings and approve samples and materials in coordination with the consultant and supervisory authorities. • Complete coordination between finishing works and electromechanical works (MEP) items to avoid any conflicts on site. • Manage and follow up on subcontractors and labor, and ensure that implementation conforms to the highest quality standards (QA/QC) and the specified schedule. • Counting the quantities implemented, auditing the extracts, and preparing periodic, daily and weekly technical reports, including completion rates. • Follow up on receiving works on site and closing notes (Snag List / Punch List) until the final delivery stage of the project. Technical and programming skills: • Proficiency in reading and reviewing operational drawings and proficiency in using the AutoCAD program. • Good knowledge of planning and project management software such as MS Project or Primavera and Microsoft Office programs. • Extensive knowledge of the specifications of finishing materials, their installation methods, and the relevant Saudi building code standards. Personal skills: • Strong management skills To position and lead work teams and coordinate with subcontractors. • Accuracy of observation and attention to architectural details and quality of delivery (Finishing Quality). • Excellent communication and field problem-solving skills. • Excellent command of the English language. • The ability to handle work pressures and work within a team. • Good skills in time management and organizing priorities. - Job details and application: - Work location: - Work type: Full-time
