Safety and Security Officer

Job description

A Safety and Security Officer is required. Requirements: A recent diploma in a related field. Good communication and reporting skills. The Safety Officer is responsible for applying and monitoring occupational safety and health standards in establishments according to the regulations and laws issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. He evaluates risks in the work environment, investigates accidents, and ensures that workers wear personal protective equipment to minimize work injuries. He also contributes to promoting a culture of prevention and implementing emergency and evacuation plans within government and private institutions

• Risk assessment and management
• application of occupational safety and health standards (OSHA/NEBOSH)
• accident investigation and reporting
• development of emergency and evacuation plans
• monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
