Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description

The role involves managing all quantity surveying duties to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents. Conduct cost control and budget management throughout the project duration. Negotiate contracts and handle variations, claims, and disputes. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and evaluate work against agreed cost and quality standards

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts
• procurement methods and cost control
• proficient in Excel
• project management experience
• surveying and measurement knowledge
• procurement experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field
• minimum 10 years of quantity surveying experience
• professional qualification or membership (e.g., MRICS) preferred
• excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• proficient with quantity surveying and project management software
• ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with diverse stakeholders
