Senior Front-End Engineer

Job description

Works at the employer in Riyadh. Responsibilities: lead the design and development of scalable enterprise-grade web applications using JavaScript (ES6+) and React. Architect and implement Server-Side Rendering solutions using Next.js or custom Node.js pipelines. Work with template engines such as Pug, EJS, and Handlebars based on client requirements. Design reusable, maintainable, high-performance UI component libraries. Develop and maintain backend services with Node.js when needed. Optimize rendering performance on client and server sides. Ensure SEO optimization and performance best practices in SSR applications. Collaborate with architects, backend teams, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to define technical solutions. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers. Participate in architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning

Requirements

• deep expertise in JavaScript, React, and modern front-end architectures, along with strong hands-on experience in Node
• Extensive experience with Next
• Experience with TypeScript in large-scale applications
• Knowledge of modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel) and performance tuning
• Java
• DevOps
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in front-end development
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Advanced experience with React.js and modern React ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, advanced state management)
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js in full-stack or SSR environments
• Deep understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), hydration, caching strategies, and rendering lifecycle
• Proven experience working with multiple template engines and server-side rendering frameworks
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and integration with backend services
• Experience in performance optimization
