Mechanical Engineer QC

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer - QC to join our Facility Management team on the Qiddiya program. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality control of mechanical systems and equipment within the project scope. You will oversee inspections, testing, and compliance with engineering standards and specifications to ensure the successful delivery of the project. Your tasks will include performing quality control inspections and testing of mechanical systems and equipment, reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, and monitoring construction and installation activities to ensure adherence to approved designs and quality standards. You will identify and report non-conformances, recommending corrective actions as needed, and collaborate with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution. You will prepare detailed quality control reports and documentation for management review, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all phases of the project. You will provide technical guidance and support to the project team as required.

Requirements

• You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field), and typically 8+ years of related work experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within facility departments. You should have strong knowledge of mechanical systems, quality control processes, and engineering standards. You should have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, etc.) is preferred. You must be fully familiar with PTW, LOTO, CAFM, and site safety procedures. You must have working knowledge of FLS and HVAC mechanical systems, and hands-on experience in preparing and implementing PPM schedules.
