Deputy Interface Manager (Technical)

At the employer you will enjoy a dynamic career. Monitor and manage project design interfaces to ensure effective coordination across all disciplines and stakeholders. Track interfaces between railway systems, civil works, and external projects for seamless integration. Review and validate contractor interface deliverables such as management plans, matrices, registers, drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Identify and resolve interface issues, providing guidance on optimal solutions. Assess contractor interface management performance and recommend corrective actions. Facilitate coordination between Metro Design‑Build packages and surrounding projects. Coordinate with external stakeholders, third parties, and project management organizations. Collaborate with Lead Civil, Lead Systems, Lead Depot, and Lead Operations & Maintenance teams to address interface challenges. Ensure consistency between railway subsystems, civil works, and multidisciplinary teams. Prepare interface reports, action trackers, and status updates for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• extensive knowledge of modern railway systems and their interfaces, including signaling and rail subsystems
• minimum 12 years of experience, with significant experience in Project Systems Interface Management
• excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and multinational project teams
• strong coordination, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Arabic language skills
• knowledge of interface management best practices in complex multi‑contractor project environments
