Senior BIM

Job description

At the employer, you will develop and maintain detailed digital models using BIM software to support project delivery, coordination, quality and compliance. You will provide input for BIM implementation schedules and manage models through digital workflows. You will lead the preparation, review and execution of BIM implementation and management plans at program and project levels. You will conduct quality reviews and audits to ensure model accessibility, integrity and data accuracy. You will prepare model assurance reports and support digital engineering requirements and procurement documentation. You will review project models for compliance with standards and requirements. You will support project teams and clients by answering BIM queries and providing technical guidance. You will assist in developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans, standards, procedures and best practices. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective model coordination across disciplines. You will coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders on BIM requirements. You will provide technical mentorship to junior BIM members and review their deliverables. You will support BIM training material development and knowledge‑sharing initiatives. You will advise project leadership, engineering teams and production staff on BIM processes and digital delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM, digital engineering, design technology, or related fields
• Advanced proficiency in BIM software, digital engineering workflows and model management practices
• Experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs) and digital collaboration platforms
• Strong knowledge of BIM and CDE systems such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar platforms
• Understanding of Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP) and Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP)
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes related to BIM deliverables
• Ability to generate reports, monitor KPIs and support digital delivery performance tracking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences
• BIM‑related professional certification
• Knowledge of digital delivery standards and industry best practices
• Strong understanding of BIM principles, standards, model development and digital delivery requirements
• Experience developing and managing BIM content including families, parametric components, libraries and assemblies
• Understanding of hardware and software requirements supporting BIM and CAD environments
• Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring and support to project teams.
