Delivery Manager (Airport/Aviation)

Job description

Lead overall delivery of an assigned airport infrastructure area, including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield systems, utilities and supporting works. Develop and implement delivery strategies aligned with project objectives, contractual requirements and client expectations. Lead multidisciplinary teams covering engineering, construction, controls, quality, HSE, commercial and stakeholder management. Ensure execution from design through construction, testing, commissioning and handover. Monitor contractor performance, ensure compliance with aviation standards, safety and quality, and support testing, inspections and handover documentation. Provide regular updates, performance reports and executive presentations.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large‑scale airport development programs involving runways, taxiways, pavements, utilities and infrastructure systems
• extensive experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing contractors
• strong knowledge of aviation requirements and compliance with aviation standards
• minimum 20 years experience delivering major infrastructure, airport, airfield, transportation or EPC projects
• ability to develop and implement delivery strategies
• proficiency in schedule monitoring, progress reporting and cost forecasting
• ability to coordinate design‑construction interfaces
• skill in liaising with aviation authorities and regulatory bodies
• expertise in quality, health, safety and environmental processes
• competence in preparing delivery documentation and handover packages
• capability to deliver performance reports and executive presentations
• leadership and mentoring of project team members
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Project Management is an advantage
• minimum 20 years of relevant experience
