Electrical Engineer - Aviation

Job description

Supports planning, design coordination, and delivery of electrical infrastructure for airport and airfield projects. Responsibilities include supporting electrical engineering activities across projects, coordinating design and installation with consultants and contractors, monitoring progress and providing technical support during construction, reviewing design drawings, specifications, and calculations, ensuring integration with civil, mechanical, and ICT systems, verifying compliance with international standards, participating in inspections, testing, commissioning, and energization, preparing handover documentation, and coordinating with airport operators, authorities, design consultants, and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering experience
• Experience in airport infrastructure or large infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL)
• Proficient in electrical power systems design and coordination
• Proficient in electrical design review
• Proficient in construction supervision
• Proficient in stakeholder coordination
• Understanding of aviation infrastructure standards
• Familiarity with ICAO, FAA/EASA, IATA, IEC/IEEE standards and local regulations.
