Job description

The Google Cloud Architect leads cloud strategy initiatives and designs innovative solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Designs scalable, reliable, and cost‑effective architectures. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develops standards, guidelines, and best practices for cloud architecture. Leads migration of applications to GCP ensuring security and compliance. Conducts cloud readiness assessments and application architecture evaluations. Oversees integration of cloud services with on‑premises or external platforms. Advises senior management on cloud strategies and industry trends. Provides technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Builds and maintains documentation for cloud solutions and processes. Engages with vendors to evaluate and select cloud services and tools

Requirements

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices for governance and compliance
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
• Excel
• Cost management
• Networking
• Kubernetes
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform
