Network Engineer - F5 L2 (Application Delivery)

Job description

As a Network Engineer specializing in F5 L2 (Application Delivery) at Müller's Solutions, you will manage and optimize the application delivery infrastructure using F5 technologies. You will design, deploy, and manage F5 load balancers (LTM, ASM, APM) to ensure high availability, performance, and security of applications. You will monitor application performance and analyze traffic patterns to improve load‑balancing strategies. You will troubleshoot application delivery issues to minimize service impact. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to configure and support delivery services and integrate them with existing infrastructure. You will implement security measures such as Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect applications. You will maintain up‑to‑date documentation of F5 configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. You will stay current with industry trends and best practices in application delivery and F5 technologies to continuously improve solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 2+ years of experience in network engineering focusing on application delivery and F5 technologies
• strong knowledge of F5 products including LTM, APM, and ASM configuration and management
• experience with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL)
• ability to troubleshoot complex application delivery issues effectively
• knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Tcl, Python) for automation and customization of F5 configurations is a plus
• excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve performance issues
• strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
• relevant certifications such as F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA) or similar
• experience with application monitoring tools and network performance analysis tools
• familiarity with cloud‑based application delivery solutions
• knowledge of security best practices related to application delivery
• experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment is a plus
