Patch Management Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Patch Management Engineer to enhance our IT infrastructure and ensure system security. Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing patch processes and tools. Ensures all systems are updated with the latest patches. Works closely with IT and security teams to identify vulnerabilities and reduce risks. Develops a patch management strategy aligned with organizational policies and security compliance requirements. Monitors vulnerabilities and recommends appropriate patches. Coordinates a schedule for patch deployment with minimal disruption. Implements automated tools for effective patch management across diverse systems. Maintains accurate records of patch status, deployments, and exceptions. Conducts patch testing in a controlled environment before full rollout. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective communication on system maintenance and downtime. Provides training and support to IT staff on best practices for patch management. Stays updated on trends and strategies for mitigating patch‑related risks
