DC Facility Monitoring Engineer

Job description

Key responsibilities include overseeing the operation and monitoring of data center facilities to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety. This critical role involves managing systems that support infrastructure uptime, including overseeing cooling systems, power distribution, and security systems within the data center. The DC Facility Monitoring Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operational health of data center facilities through consistent oversight of critical systems and environmental conditions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in data center operations or facility monitoring
• Strong understanding of critical data center systems, including HVAC, power distribution, and fire safety systems
• Proficiency in using monitoring tools and systems for facility management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve facility-related issues
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel, HVAC, effective communication, detail skills, preventive maintenance, and compliance
