the employer Resolve is assisting petrochemical organisations to the employer experienced professionals to support refinery, chemical and downstream manufacturing operations across Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include leading safe and efficient plant operations, driving process optimisation and cost reduction, supporting or leading capital projects from scope to handover, maintaining technical documentation and change control, strengthening asset reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring compliance with HSE and process safety standards, leading risk assessments and incident investigations, managing contractors and safe work systems, monitoring and improving KPIs in safety, production, quality and budget, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Laboratory and Supply Chain, supporting audits and continuous improvement programmes, coaching and developing teams, and being willing to work onsite with possible shift, on‑call or travel requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline
• 7–15+ years of experience in petrochemicals, refining, specialty chemicals, polymers, industrial gases or comparable process manufacturing
• experience in one or more functional tracks such as operations leadership, process engineering, reliability/maintenance, rotating equipment, HSE/process safety, projects, quality/laboratory or commercial/technical support
• working knowledge of safety and process safety expectations for major hazard operations (Permit‑to‑Work, isolations/LOTO, contractor management, incident investigation, MOC)
• familiarity with CMMS/EAM systems like SAP or Maximo, process historians like PI System and standard engineering documentation practices
• strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to lead cross‑functional teams in multicultural environments
• professional English proficiency
• Arabic proficiency advantageous for some roles.
