Drilling Rig Foreman

Job description

The Drilling Rig Foreman manages field operations for drilling rigs and workover rigs on deep wells. He supervises all drilling activities to meet Saudi Aramco safety standards and ensures contractors fulfill contractual obligations. He recommends alternative methods or tools when unusual situations arise and coordinates material deliveries to be available on schedule. He acts as the primary liaison between the company and the contractor, approves daily tour reports, and ensures equipment maintenance to avoid downtime. He ensures compliance with Saudi Aramco Blowout Prevention Standards and overall safety procedures. He is willing to work in remote locations and harsh weather conditions

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience working in drilling and workover operations including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling equipment, techniques, and safety measures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions.
