Network Engineer

Job description

The role of the Network Engineer involves designing, implementing, and managing network solutions to support business operations and improve performance. Design LAN, WAN, and wireless network systems; configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls; monitor network performance and stability, identify improvement areas, and troubleshoot issues; develop and implement network security protocols to protect data and infrastructure; collaborate with IT teams to assess network needs and deploy required updates; prepare and maintain network configuration documents, standards, and procedures; stay updated on emerging networking technologies and trends

Requirements

• Experience with BGP, EIGRP, and ISIS
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in network engineering or related roles
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
