Data Center Technician

Job description

The Data Center Technician works 24×7 shifts in Saudi Arabia data center facilities. Monitors environmental conditions, power, and server hardware. Performs rack installation, de‑rack, and connects copper and fiber cabling per TIA‑942 standards. Handles HVAC and fire detection/suppression systems. Provides break/fix support for Windows and Linux servers with system owners and hardware vendors. Ensures security by controlling access, logging visitors, and issuing work permits. Prepares end‑of‑shift reports and documents all changes

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with server hardware installation, troubleshooting, and cabling (copper and fiber)
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server and Linux installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• HVAC cooling
