Senior IAM & Backend Engineer (Keycloak + Spring Boot)

Job description

The role involves leading identity and access management, secure microservice development, and CI/CD automation in cloud-native environments. Develop scalable Spring Boot services using Java 17+. Design and implement secure IAM strategies with Keycloak, including realm setup, user management, multi‑factor authentication, role‑based access control, and federated identity providers (LDAP, Azure AD). Customize tokens (OIDC/JWT/SAML) and integrate Keycloak with applications and CI/CD pipelines. Automate deployments using CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and manage services in Docker/Kubernetes. Apply best practices for security, performance, and observability

Requirements

• proficient in Keycloak (Red Hat SSO)
• proficient in Java 17+ and Spring Boot
• experience with Java microservices
• deep knowledge of Keycloak or Red Hat SSO
• experience building secure REST APIs using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT
• ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot Keycloak realms, clients, flows, and policies
• hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
• proficient with Linux and Bash scripting
• knowledge of SQL databases
• knowledge of Azure cloud
• proficient with Git
• knowledge of Istio, Service Mesh, or API Gateways (nice to have)
• experience securing public APIs and implementing zero‑trust patterns (nice to have)
• familiarity with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (nice to have)
