Software Project Manager

Job description

The role involves leading teams on small to medium projects or major segments of large projects. Manages scope initiation, definition, change control, and creates a Work Breakdown Structure. Oversees project planning, activity definition, sequencing, estimating, assigning, and schedule control. Identifies and analyzes risks, develops mitigation plans, and ensures quality assurance and testing execution. Participates in pre‑sales activities to define client needs and propose suitable solutions. Works closely with customers, engineers, sales, and finance to deliver maximum value

Requirements

• proficient in Excel
• proficient in project management
• knowledge of sales
• proficient in quality assurance
• experience preparing RFI and RFP responses
• experience drafting contracts and statements of work
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience
• 2 years of experience in Software Project Management
