Director - Development Financial Planning and Analysis

Job description

Lead the financial oversight of development projects and ensure compliance with budget, schedule and scope. Prepares management packages, board presentations, and executive presentations to senior leadership. Translates complex financial data into clear, visually structured materials. Tracks reserve consumption and releases across projects. Reviews requests for depreciation of temporary amounts and approves unapproved variables and contractors' claims. Ensures systems integration between project and accounting system and resolves monthly reconciliation issues. Identifies and analyzes project scheduling changes using Primavera P6. Integrates risks and opportunities into financial projections. Builds scenario models that support planning, forecasting, and strategic decision making. Improves reporting frameworks including performance indicators and implementation trackers. Coordinates with FP&A and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and process compliance. Directs a team with a consultative approach and drives continuous improvement and reporting automation initiatives
