Quality Inspector - Mechanical

Job description

Role Summary: Ensure all mechanical works are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality procedures. Conduct daily site inspections of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and mechanical equipment installations. Review and close Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) with proper signatures. Document mechanical system testing and prepare daily QC reports. Monitor contractor practices for quality and safety compliance. Hold daily meetings with the contractor's QC representative and support the construction team in resolving mechanical quality issues. Assist the Quality Manager in mechanical quality audits

• 5–10 years of mechanical inspection experience
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications
• Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills
• Ability to resolve technical issues efficiently
