About the Role: the employer is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full‑time role involves carrying out essential maintenance activities on depot equipment systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Position Summary: Executes preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on depot equipment, ensuring compliance with standards, procedures, EHS requirements, and contracts. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on depot equipment and workshop machinery; troubleshoot, diagnose faults, repair, adjust, and replace defective components; ensure equipment availability and reliability; conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring; support breakdown recovery and emergency interventions; read and understand technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and procedures; use testing and measuring instruments for diagnostics; record activities in CMMS; prepare maintenance reports; assist engineers and supervisors during major maintenance activities. Safety and Quality Compliance: Follow EHS policies and procedures, apply LOTO and safe work practices, maintain housekeeping, ensure quality standards, report safety observations, incidents, near misses, and equipment abnormalities

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• proficiency in preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance
• knowledge of reading technical drawings and schematics
• proficient in using testing and measuring instruments
• experience with CMMS or maintenance management systems
• ability to follow EHS policies, procedures, and LOTO practices
• medically fit for railway maintenance activities and able to pass required medical examinations
• able to pass background verification
