Job description

The Proactive Monitoring Specialist monitors and analyzes IT system performance, identifies potential issues, and takes proactive measures to mitigate risks. Monitor performance and availability of systems using monitoring tools; analyze logs and alerts to identify issues and vulnerabilities; take proactive actions to ensure performance, availability, and security; create and maintain documentation for monitoring procedures; collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues promptly; recommend and improve monitoring tools and processes; stay updated with latest technologies and best practices in proactive monitoring

Requirements

• Excel
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
• Experience analyzing system logs and alerts to identify potential issues
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking principles
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
