Project Manager

Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing operations and maintenance projects to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant and pipeline performance. Plans and manages projects in line with company objectives and safety standards; oversees daily plant and pipeline operations to ensure optimal performance; leads technical teams, contractors, and site personnel; ensures compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; develops maintenance strategies, schedules, and budgets to minimize downtime and extend asset life; monitors project progress, manages risks, and implements corrective actions; coordinates with stakeholders, vendors, and internal departments for smooth execution; prepares and presents reports on project status, performance metrics, and operational issues; utilizes SAP PM for maintenance planning, tracking, and reporting (preferred)

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• or Electrical Engineering
• or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant operations and maintenance experience
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in operations and maintenance of gas plants and pipelines
• Proven supervisory and man‑management experience
• Strong knowledge of gas plant and pipeline systems
• Experience in maintenance planning and asset management
• SAP PM experience preferred
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• High commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
