Software Developer

Job description

You will undertake software development to fix bugs, adapt it to new devices, improve its performance, and upgrade its interfaces. You will assist the development manager in aspects of software design and programming, attend and contribute to development meetings. You will write and maintain code, monitor the technical performance of internal systems, and respond to requests from the development team. You will collect information from users about software functions, write reports, and direct systems testing and validation procedures. Career Overview: Software developers implement or program all types of software systems based on specifications and designs using programming language, tools, and platforms. Typical tasks for this profession: • Receive and understand design plans and architecture, prepare plans for writing and testing code, and determine the time frame and implementation phases. • Developing code using the appropriate programming language, and compiling it into executable programs. • Implement programmed files in various controlled environments, ensuring adherence to standards. • Deploy and implement software on customer devices, test and run the product. • Document code creation procedures during the programming process, and facilitate future updates and changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Two to four years of practical experience in software development
• Proficiency in English programming languages
