Job description

Key Responsibilities include supervising and executing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in gas plants and pipelines. Leading and managing mechanical technicians and fitters, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently. Ensuring strict compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and safety procedures. Coordinating with operations to plan maintenance activities, shutdowns, and equipment isolation. Assigning daily tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance jobs. Performing troubleshooting and supporting root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures. Verifying job quality, conducting inspections, and ensuring equipment readiness before handover to operations. Ensuring proper use of tools, spare parts, and materials; supporting inventory control and spare management. Preparing and closing maintenance work orders, reports, and equipment history records. Supporting plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency maintenance activities. Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to technicians to enhance team capability

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification. 5-8 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems. Strong expertise in maintenance of mechanical equipment, including static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves) and rotary equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers). Experience using SAP PM for maintenance work orders, notifications, and history tracking is preferred.
