Temenos Functional Consultant

Job description

The Temenos Functional Consultant role involves linking clients with technology and guiding them to maximize the use of Temenos banking solutions. You will analyze business needs, configure Temenos applications, and provide guidance to ensure clients achieve maximum value from their software investment. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive requirement gathering sessions, configuring and customizing Temenos applications for Core Banking, Digital Banking, and Wealth Management modules, developing functional specifications and documentation, performing system testing and quality assurance, staying up‑to‑date with the latest Temenos updates and best practices, and collaborating with technical teams to maintain system integrity and design database workflows

Requirements

• Proficient in providing training and support for end users to ensure they are proficient in utilizing the Temenos system effectively
• Strong knowledge of Temenos modules, functionalities, and related banking services
• Proficient in Excel
• Proficient in Git
• Proficient attention to detail
• Proficient in quality assurance
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience with Temenos software solutions
• Experience in business analysis, process mapping, and system configuration
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
• Temenos certification or training is preferred
