Maximo EAM Functional Specialist

Job description

Responsible for administering, configuring, supporting and enhancing the Maximo Operations & Maintenance system at KAUST. Works closely with technology teams to troubleshoot customer issues by implementing technical solutions and configurations. Collaborates with multiple stakeholder users and third parties to ensure accurate documentation and functionality implementation. Duties include application support, BIRT reporting, testing, minor configuration changes, assessing change impacts and risks, troubleshooting IBM Maximo, IBM HTTP Server and interface issues, providing technical support, administration and development for the system and database, delivering technical solutions to meet facilities management goals, installing and supporting Maximo 7.x, developing workflow processes, managing clustered application environments with IBM WebSphere, administering Actuate iServer and BIRT, developing Actuate and BIRT reports, loading data via MDL, GDL and SQL/PLSQL scripting, administering Maximo 7.6 Cognos integration, and related tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• IBM Maximo certification (7.x) desired
• strong experience with installation, configuration and administration of Maximo 7.x
• experience in clustered application environments and IBM WebSphere
• experience with Actuate iServer, Actuate Reports and BIRT administration
• experience with Maximo Data Loader (MDL), Generic Data Loader (GDL) and data migration scripting (SQL, PL/SQL)
• knowledge of Microsoft MS SQL and IBM DB2
• experience developing workflow processes including roles, actions and action groups
• experience using the Integration application (MIF) to import data and configure object structures, publish channels, enterprise services, endpoints and external systems
• administration of Maximo 7.x Cognos integration
• 7 to 8 years of experience with at least 4 years in operation and maintenance field.
