Construction Management Department Manager (HQ)

Job description

This role is responsible for ensuring construction projects are executed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget, aligned with client objectives. It involves managing all project phases—from planning and design to execution—while overseeing contractors, supervision consultants, and resource allocation. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, monitoring progress, enforcing safety protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing contracts, reviewing reports, implementing project management systems, and preparing financial forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 20 years’ experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects, leading to the position of construction manager on large-scale projects
• Experience of major government and/or semi-government international construction sites
• Extensive Experience in the construction management of water and wastewater works
• Experience of implementing a zero accident philosophy
• A record of engagement with government entities / utility providers
• Record of implementing continuous improvement on site and supporting capacity building / talent development in a construction environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of working internationally (preference KSA).
