Technical Engineer - Infrastructure

Job description

the employer is enhancing its project delivery team with a Technical Engineer - Infrastructure. Responsible for overseeing technical aspects of infrastructure projects and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices. Duties include planning, designing, and executing projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities; conducting technical reviews of designs, specifications, and methodologies; performing site inspections to monitor progress and compliance; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives; preparing technical reports and documentation; providing technical support to project managers and junior engineers; identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• 8-10 years experience in infrastructure engineering and project management
• strong knowledge of infrastructure design principles, construction methods, and relevant regulations
• proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools
• excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• effective communication and teamwork abilities
• detail-oriented with strong focus on quality and safety standards.
