Inspector - Architectural

Job description

The role focuses on conducting thorough inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with architectural standards, building codes, and specifications. Perform rigorous on-site inspections; assess material and workmanship quality; identify and document discrepancies or defects and communicate findings; prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records; provide technical guidance to project teams on architectural compliance; engage with contractors and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly; participate in project meetings to discuss progress, compliance, and potential challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 7-10 years experience in architectural inspection or construction supervision
• strong understanding of architectural standards, construction methods, and building codes
• ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• proficiency in inspection tools and related software
• excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborative teamwork
• ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• certification in construction inspection or related field is a plus.
