In a world of possibilities, imagine a rewarding career with the employer The role focuses on managing and assuring the technical scope of rail systems across design and build phases for a major transportation program covering metro, heavy, light, and high‑speed rail. Positioned within the Engineering & Safety function, it provides technical leadership, design governance, systems integration oversight, and safety‑by‑design assurance for rail system packages such as signalling and train control, telecoms, SCADA, platform systems, fare collection, security, and line‑wide systems. The role ensures consultants and contractors deliver safe, compliant, and constructible solutions meeting employer requirements, rail standards, and regulatory expectations. Responsibilities include client representation in technical meetings, managing the design lifecycle, reviewing design reports and drawings, leading multidisciplinary design reviews, overseeing systems integration, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, coordinating design‑build activities, and supervising testing and final acceptance.

Requirements

• Ensure that required safety approvals, certifications, and licenses for rail systems are planned, tracked, and obtained in line with project milestones.
• Monitor execution of testing and commissioning via reports and selective site attendance
• assess readiness for key milestones (trial operations, safety certification).
• Monitor progress of rail systems design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities against the integrated master program.
