Senior Electrical Engineer

Job description

the employer is a leading engineering and construction company seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for day-to-day site electrical work, ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project standards, with a particular focus on luxury hotel/resort requirements, guest comfort, safety, and operational efficiency. Solid experience in hospitality projects (5-star hotels/resorts - completed projects) is a must. They will also supervise the construction of electrical infrastructure works, including external LV networks, feeders, utility interfaces, road/landscape lighting, earthing, and lightning protection. Additionally, they will supervise building electrical works, including LV distribution boards, cabling, lighting, and emergency lighting, small power, and power to equipment. The Senior Electrical Engineer must ensure that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes, coordinate with civil, mechanical, ELV, and architectural teams to avoid clashes, and attend site meetings to report site issues and required actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in large-scale projects
• Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, and in a fast-track environment
• Knowledge of international procedures, design guides, automated and administrative practices
• Good knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, earthing, and basic ELV interfaces
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Basic computer skills (MS Office
• AutoCAD an advantage)
• Strong attention to detail, good communication, and ability to work under pressure.
