Senior Associate - Financial Diligence

Job description

You will work in teams with experienced due diligence professionals, developing due diligence skills across sectors. You will help clients achieve strategic goals in acquisitions or divestitures, advising during due diligence to identify value drivers and challenge assumptions. You will collaborate with other EY service teams to deliver integrated services and may work on cross‑border assignments. You will prepare analyses of historical and pro‑forma financial data to assess trends, cash flow impact, and deal valuation. You will conduct industry and company research using online tools, assist with technical accounting issues, and prepare reports and schedules for clients while maintaining productive client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience
• familiarity with fundamental accounting concepts including IFRS
• good presentation skills
• prior audit experience advantageous
• proficiency in data analysis and critical thinking
• proficient in MS Excel
• entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen
• passion for helping clients achieve their potential
• ability to analyze financial and non‑financial information and form conclusions
• transactions or auditing experience
• client‑facing experience in professional services
