BI and Reporting Expert

Job description

The BI and Reporting Expert transforms complex raw enterprise data into actionable visual insights, interactive dashboards, and executive reporting solutions. The role bridges IT infrastructure and business leadership to enable data‑informed decision making. Designs, builds, and maintains enterprise‑grade interactive dashboards and automated reports. Develops robust star or snowflake schemas and optimizes DAX/SQL queries for high performance. Works with data engineers to create and sustain ETL/ELT pipelines from ERP, CRM, and SQL databases to data warehouses. Translates business requirements into KPI frameworks, executive summaries, and functional dashboard specifications. Enforces data governance, row‑level security, data quality standards, and access controls across BI platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
• mastery of Power BI (DAX, Power Query) or Tableau or Looker
• advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, procedure optimization)
• working experience with Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or SQL Server/SSAS
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or Tableau Certified Data Analyst or ITIL4 (preferred)
