The role is responsible for designing, developing, and improving algorithms to meet business or customer needs. The Fingerprint Research team focuses on advancing benchmark‑leading fingerprint recognition solutions by developing algorithms for detection, tracking, segmentation, classification, encoding, and 3D modeling. Key missions include: designing, implementing, and optimizing robust, secure, and scalable algorithms; adapting algorithms to improve system and customer experience; developing test strategies to evaluate algorithms; presenting results to internal community; staying updated with state‑of‑the‑art research; supporting solution design and customization; linking operational data to ensure algorithm effectiveness; leading defined studies under guidance of senior researchers.

Requirements

• Graduate from an engineering school or hold a Master's degree (M2) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, or related field
• 1 to 15 years of experience in a similar R&D or product development role
• proficient in Python and PyTorch framework
• fluent in English (read scientific papers and present technical work)
• proficient in French (written and spoken)
• results‑driven with good teamwork and knowledge‑sharing skills
• strong understanding of deep learning and computer vision fundamentals
• involvement in at least three personal or professional projects in computer vision or natural language processing
• strong background in software development and data analysis
• curious, proactive, and autonomous.
