Senior Commissioning Electrical Engineer

Job description

Senior Commissioning Electrical Engineer based in Riyadh. Leads end‑to‑end commissioning of MV/LV power systems and interfaces with MEP systems. Plans and runs commissioning programs aligned with construction schedules, validates tests to specs and international standards, prepares and controls documentation, coordinates with contractors and consultants, signs off on electrical equipment handover, prepares O&M manuals, and conducts technical progress meetings.

Requirements

• 5–8 years commissioning experience on medium‑to‑large electrical projects
• proficient in planning and executing MV/LV commissioning
• knowledge of protection testing, primary/secondary injection, breaker and transformer testing
• proficient in VFD, MCC and PFC commissioning
• experience preparing test packs, ITPs, SAT and CAT documentation
• strong coordination with GC, consultants and subcontractors
• BSc in Electrical Engineering
• familiarity with BMS and fire alarm interfaces is a plus
• exposure to ABB/Schneider/Siemens switchgear and Cummins/Kohler generators and APC/Eaton UPS
• proficient with digital snagging/commissioning tools and Power BI/advanced Excel
• experience with authority or third‑party approvals.
