Junior TAP Engineer

Job description

the employer is establishing a specialized TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing) Technical Unit in the Eastern Region to support major projects across Saudi Arabia. Ambitious Saudi Mechanical Engineers are sought to build the team from the ground up. The role includes a structured training program led by industry veterans to become a certified TAB professional. Responsibilities include participating in theoretical and practical training, assisting senior engineers and technicians in on‑site testing, adjusting, and balancing HVAC (air and hydronic) systems, operating specialized instrumentation such as air data meters, flow hoods, and manometers, meticulously recording field data, analyzing test results and preparing detailed reports, collaborating with project and commissioning teams to resolve performance issues, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 0 to 3 years of professional experience
• Saudi National
• strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• knowledge of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
• excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• hands‑on attitude for office and field work
• good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• based in or willing to relocate to the Eastern Province
