Technician

Job description

Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs in rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities. Diagnose technical issues in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly. Carry out preventive maintenance according to schedule. Ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently. Assist with installation of new equipment as needed. Maintain maintenance records and document completed work. Follow hotel safety standards and procedures. Coordinate with engineering team members and other departments. Support emergency repairs when required.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance or related field
• previous experience in general maintenance or hotel engineering
• basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems
• ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• understanding of preventive maintenance procedures
• ability to read and understand basic technical manuals and drawings
• good communication skills in English (basic spoken and written)
• ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• physically fit for hands‑on maintenance tasks
• strong commitment to safety standards and procedures
